Randy was an "army brat" growing up. His dad was an MP in the army and also a great mother who taught him how to be this crazy guy that throws his personality off in ADHD mode. Growing up in East Alabama/West Georgia, he met a lot of of people and was a very outgoing kid. He loved to have fun and still does. He met Jesus one day at the age of 13 years old at a church called, "Buchanan Church of God." (Now known as, "New Vision Church") Prior to that, God had always had an impact on his life, but Randy knew that if something happened, heaven would be the last place he would be. From the time he was two years old, he would imitate preachers than were blaring on his grandmother's TV screen. At that time, it was Jimmy Swaggart and Jim Baker. Wow! Those were the days. Randy would hop on the coffee table in his grandmother's living room and would yell to the top of his lungs, "Jesus loves you, and He can save you." Between the that time and the year he met Jesus, his life was hell. Rebelling his parents, ripping off friends, doing things he wasn't supposed to do, girls came in the picture, and so did satan.
In May 1995, Randy dedicated and devoted his life to serving the Almighty King Jesus. The One that gives us everlasting life. The man whose blood was spilled on the place of the skull to save us from eternal punishment.
He was called to preach at the age of 15.
When he turned 17, God told him that he was going to be planting a church in Denver, CO in the future.
Randy was the student pastor for Mount Holly Church of God for 6 years, serving under Bishop G. Evett Guyton (senior pastor).
Randy is a very passionate speaker that speak boldly to crowds about the Bible. He doesn't let up and throw down. Very encouraging and at times very crucial. The cross of Christ is his passion and will never turn away from that. He speaks out against the forces of darkness and brings the light of Jesus everywhere He goes.
He is now married to the most beautiful jewel and his righthand woman, Leslie Burris. She comes along beside him to help him with his ministry. She is an amazing speaker.
They now reside in Denver, CO. They are in the middle of what God told Randy 10 years ago, that there would come a day when there was a church that was to be planted for the hurting, the lost, the unchurched, the churched. It was going to be a refuge where the Holy Spirit would be welcome and people would be healed of diseases, forgiven from their sin, and deliverance for many. The church is called, "Church at the Orchard."
